TV in Việt Nam

Thirty years ago in Viet Nam, very few people had TV sets. These TV owners were very popular. After dinner, their neighbors gathered both inside and outside their houses. Some watched through the windows.

All evening, they sat and watched the black and white programs. The older people might sleep a little and the children might play with their friends, but no one went home until the TV programs finished.

Time?; have changed. Today, many families have a TV set. People sit in their own living rooms and watch TV. Life is more comfortable now, but many neighbors don't spend much time together any more.

Truyền hình ở Việt Nam

Cách đây 30 năm ở Việt Nam rất ít người có máy vô tuyến truyền hình. Những người chủ máy truyền hình này rất được mến chuộng. Sau bữa cơm tối, những người láng giềng tụ tập bên trong lẫn bên ngoài nhà của họ. Vài người nhìn qua cửa sổ.

Suốt buổi tối, họ ngồi xem chương trình trên màn hình đen trắng. Những người lớn tuổi có thể ngủ chút ít và bọn trẻ có thể chơi với bạn bè chúng nhưng không ai về nhà, mãi đến khi chương trình truyền hình kết thúc.

Thời đại giờ đã thay đổi. Ngày nay, nhiều gia đình có máy vô tuyến truyền hình. Người ta ngồi trong phòng khách của mình và xem tivi. Cuộc sống ngày nay thoải mái hơn, nhưng nhiều người láng giềng không còn trải qua nhiều thời giờ với nhau nữa.
